Legacy of Slavery and Colonialism on local communities

We are very proud to be working with the City of Edinburgh Council on its Slavery and Colonialism work. We will be conducting workshops with different groups within the South Asian and African backgrounds living in Edinburgh on the legacy and future of this work as well as collate lived experiences, to share and inspire the future in a positive way. We want communities affected by Slavery and Colonialism to tell us what impact the legacy has had on them but more importantly, how to make things better for the future.

If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch on 0131 556 0441 or admin@elrec.org.uk.

The project is specific to people from South Asian and African heritage only.
